Oil Portrait Commission & Prices
An oil painting with reduced detail exudes a greater sense of expression and energy, yet it may not possess the same level of realism. A portrait, resembling an oil painting, may appear more static but also exceptionally lifelike. The choice ultimately lies in your personal taste as a customer. If you appreciate artworks featuring abstract elements or are working with a limited budget, opting for a lower level of detail may be more desirable. However, if you prefer realism, a higher level of detail would be the ideal choice.
Low level of detail
Low level of detail is seen as a whole from a distance. When the viewer gets close, clear brushstrokes or fields of color are visible.
Medium level of detail
These images are seen as a whole both from a distance and up close (about half a meter). More time is available for proportions and color choices to be more realistic. It usually becomes easier to recognize the model(s).
High level of detail
High level of detail are the images with a high budget and where the focus is on it being as realistic and detailed as possible.
The prices below are applicable for portraits with a lower level and medium level of detail. If you desire to place an order for a portrait that requires high levels of detail, feel free to contact us via email for pricing information.

How does the commissioning process work?
1. Please send the photos you'd like to have as a painting to my email address: ciltiktanrikuludila@gmail.com
2. Once received, I will evaluate the photos and suggest the ones with the potential for fine portrait paintings. My focus will be on image quality, lighting, and composition.
3. We'll discuss and determine the portrait's size, background, and price during our conversation.
4. After we agree on the details, I will send you a confirmation email outlining everything we've discussed, including the total price for the portrait and the down payment amount, which is approximately half of the total cost.*
5. Once the down payment is made to my bank account, I will provide you with a payment confirmation. At this point, the order will be confirmed, and I'll begin working on the portrait.
6. Within 1.5 months, the portrait will be completed. Sometimes this can be completed in 1 month. It varies according to the order of the order and the technical details of the subject. The remaining amount for the portrait can be paid in advance to my account or on the spot when you receive the finished painting.
We do not offer framing service.
If you live far from Malmö (a city in Sweden) and are unable to collect the finished portrait from my studio, we can explore the easiest and most cost-effective method to have the portrait safely delivered to your home.
*Material expenses and taxes are included in the price. The down payment serves as a partial payment and indicates your commitment to purchasing the item.
